When a full breath goes in-and-out, half the problem slowly fades away.
There was a period in my life where I wasn't breathing, not really. I was inhaling just enough to stay alive, not enough to live.
When the moments are filled with anxious thoughts about the future, the present becomes an unbearable hell.
The past catches up with me as a "Parent" beating on my "Child", "You could have done this." "You didn't do enough". "Look at other people, you're falling behind"… all these voices ring in the back stage of your mind.
And the world trying to advertise "Life's a race, keep running or you'll lose".
Well, I ran enough like a maniac to realize, life actually supposed to be a "peaceful evening walk".
A walk where your present is all that matters. The state of universe in this fraction of time.
Admire the beauty in the smallest things.
When you look around, you'll see that everything in the universe has its own rhythm. Nature just stays in its calm state. The waves do their thing, the birds live their life without overthinking.
And we humans are part of that same nature too, just another leaf on the big tree.
But our own mind kind of hijacked us. We got pulled around by desire, pushed by expectations, blinded by what we think we should be. Somewhere in that mess, we stopped living naturally… and started running like machines.
Experience instead of expectations.
